Plastic melt temperature sensors are available in thermocouple types J or K and are used to measure the temperature of the molten plastic. They are available with a bolt length of either 76mm or 152mm with either a 5mm or a flush sensing tip length; they have an insulated junction and are terminated in a standard round pin thermocouple plug.
The bolt material is 316 stainless steel with a ½ inch UNF 20 thread and the sensor has a measuring range of 0 to 750°C.
