All sensors are supplied with a 1 metre coiled lead when extended and a fixed miniature flat pin plug which makes them suitable for all our hand held indicators as well as most other proprietary brands of indicators. They can of course be connected to other instrumentation such as temperature controllers by using thermocouple extension cable and the appropriate connectors.

Our general purpose style is offered with a semi flexible mineral insulated sheath in either 3mm or 6mm diameter in lengths of 150mm, 300mm or 500mm. The stem is rated to 800°C and the handle to 135°C.

This is a more robust version of the same style with a larger butt welded ribbon junction. Whilst stronger, the response time is not as good as the standard version; however, in most applications it is perfectly acceptable. The stem is rated to 400°C and the handle to 135°C.

This sensor has the standard fast response butt welded junction, but the sensing tip is positioned at a right angle for difficult to reach applications. The stem is rated to 400°C and the handle to 135°C.

This sensor can be used for penetrating extreme semi solids as it has a sharp sensing tip. The stem is rated to 800°C and the handle to 135°C.

This sensor is similar to the standard Needle Penetration Sensor, however it can be hammered into fairly solid applications such as frozen food product etc.

Moving Surface Roller Thermocouple Sensor

We offer two styles of moving surface roller sensors. One has Teflon® wheels which makes it ideal for low abrasion resistance requirements and is rated to 250°C. The other has stainless steel wheels which is not as good as the Teflon® version for abrasion resistance applications; however, it can be used up to 400°C.
