Non Armoured Multipair Thermocouple Extension and Compensating Cable

We supply multipair 16/0.2mm dia cable in 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX, KCB, TX, JX, NX or RCA/SCA. Each conductor is insulated in flame retardant PVC, pairs are then twisted, screened with aluminium Mylar® tape, bunched together, overall screened with aluminium Mylar® tape and flame retardant PVC sheathed overall. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet BS EN 60584.1 and BS EN 60584.2 Class 2 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. The insulation material is colour coded to BS4937 Pt30 as shown below.

Teflon Insulated Multipair Thermocouple Extension Cable

This range of Teflon® insulated multipair thermocouple cables is available as a 7/0.2mm dia cable in 25, 50, or 100 metre lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX, TX, JX and NX. Each conductor is insulated in Teflon®, pairs are then twisted, bunched together, overall screened with aluminium Mylar® tape and Teflon® sheathed overall. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet BS EN 60584.1 and BS EN 60584.2 Class 2 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. Teflon® insulated cable is ideal for higher temperature applications up to 250°C or for use at cryogenic temperatures down to -75°C and will withstand attack from virtually all known chemicals, oils and fluids.

Fibreglass Insulated Multipair Thermocouple Extension and Compensating Cable

This range of Fibreglass insulated multipair thermocouple cable is available as a 14/0.2mm dia cable in 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX and RCA/B. Each conductor is double glass fibre lapped, glass fibre braided and silicone varnished. Pairs twisted, glass fibre braided and silicone varnished, bunched, glass fibre braided and silicone varnished. This cable is available with and without an overall stainless steel wire braid. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet BS EN 60584.1 and BS EN 60584.2 Class 2 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. The insulation material is colour coded to BS4937 Pt30 as shown below. Fibreglass insulated cable is ideal for higher temperature applications up to 480°C and the rugged construction of the stainless steel braided cable makes it ideal for heavy industrial applications such as in brick kilns and in the glass industry.
