Precision RTD - Pt100 Sensor

This precision Pt100 sensor can be used as a temperature reference for comparison of other temperature sensors or alternatively as a high accuracy Pt100 sensor for exacting temperature measurement. Sensors supplied complete with UKAS calibration certificates are also available.

Stator Slot RTD Sensor

These laminated fibreglass stator slot winding RTD’s fit in slots between stator windings to monitor temperature rise and prevent overheating. The sensing element extends throughout most of the body length which provides an average temperature reading. By making a reading over a larger area, hot spots can be easily detected, which more standard sensors may miss. They can also be used in a number of other applications where an average temperature is required to be measured. We can also make these sensors to suit your particular dimensional requirements.

Spring Bearing RTD Sensor - Pt100 'Top Hat Style'

These bearing sensors are also designed for use in bearing shoes. The top hat shape allows spring loading by use of a spring and retaining ring clip. The sensor tip is inserted into the milled hole, then the retaining ring clip is pushed down to compress the spring and retain the sensor. Using these sensors will give reliable indication as to the bearing condition. This may provide an early warning of oil film breakdown and allow the machine to shutdown and avoid unnecessary damage.

External/Rugged Air Temperature Sensor

This air temperature sensor is ideal for external applications as the connections are enclosed in a weatherproof connection box. It is also most suited to internal applications which require box to be rugged. The sensor itself is housed within a perforated stainless steel tube which allows a free flow of air across the sensor element which in turn will give a good response time. A version is also available with a 4-20mA transmitter for those requiring a standard transducer signal.

Adjustable Ring RTD Sensor - Pt100

For pipe temperature measurement up to 350ºC. This sensor incorporates a Pt100 sensor attached to an adjustable ring. They are available in a number of sizes to suit your diameter of pipe. For enhanced performance we recommend that you lag the sensor after attaching to the pipe.

Miniature RTD Sensor - Pt100 - 0.5 to 1.6mm diameter

These miniature RTD sensors are available in either 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm or 1.6mm diameters. They have an incredibly fast response time compared to larger diameter sensors and are ideal for applications such as laboratories or applications where response time is critical. They are supplied as four wire devices but by simply selecting only two red and one white leads they can also be used as three wire devices. The sensor is rated up to 350ºC.
