Single Pair Thermocouple Extension and Compensating Cable Laid Flat Construction

We supply 7/0.2mm dia cable in 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either Thermocouple cable types KX, KCB, TX, JX or NX. Each conductor is insulated in either Heat Resistant PVC, Teflon®, Fibreglass or Fibreglass with Stainless Steel braiding overall. The cores are laid flat and then overall sheathed in the same material with an optional stainless steel braiding for the fibreglass version. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet BS EN 60584.1 and BS EN 60584.2 Class 2 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. The insulation material is colour coded to BS4937 Pt 30 as shown below.

The insulation material is colour coded to BS4937 Pt 30 as shown below.

Single Pair Flame Retardant Silicone Rubber Thermocouple Extension and Compensating Cable Twisted Screened Construction

We supply Silicone Rubber cable with 7/0.3mm dia conductors in thermocouple cable types KX, KCB, TX, JX, NX or RCA/SCA. Each conductor is insulated in Silicone Rubber. The cores are then twisted, screened with aluminium Mylar® tape, tinned copper wire braided and then overall sheathed in Silicone Rubber. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet BS EN 60584.1 and BS EN 60584.2 Class 2 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulating material. The insulation material is colour coded to BS4937 Pt30 as shown below.

We supply single pair 16/0.2mm dia armoured cable in 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX, KCB, TX, JX, NX or RCA/SCA. Each conductor is insulated in flame retardant PVC, the pair is then twisted, screened with aluminium Mylar® tape, flame retardant PVC sheathed, steel wire armoured then flame retardant PVC sheathed overall. All conductors used (except for compensating cable ) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet BS EN 60584.1 and BS EN 60584.2 Class 2 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. The insulation material is colour coded to BS4937 Pt30 as shown below.

Teflon Insulated and Twisted Single Pair Thermocouple Cable

Supplied as either a single solid conductor of 0.2mm or 0.3mm diameter, this Teflon® insulated thermocouple cable is ideal for higher temperature applications up to 250°C or for use at cryogenic temperatures down to -75°C. Consisting of a single pair of conductors insulated and twisted together, this type of cable is suitable for extending thermocouples or for making simple thermocouple sensors. Teflon® will withstand attack from virtually all known chemicals, oils and fluids and this cable is made in an extruded form making it impervious to gas, steam and water ingress and is suitable for applications such as autoclaves or sterilizers.

Teflon Insulated Laid Flat Construction Thermocouple Cable

One pair of solid 0.5mm diameter conductors are Teflon® insulated, laid flat and Teflon® sheathed. This cable is ideally suited for a variety of applications including the refrigeration industry where it’s construction allows it to be passed reliably through door seals. Teflon® will withstand attack from virtually all known chemicals, oils and fluids and this cable is made in an extruded form making it impervious to gas, steam and water ingress and is suitable for applications such as autoclaves or sterilizers.
