Two types of labels are available, the first have a reversible colour changing temperature scale and are used for long term, continuous temperature monitoring where a simple indication of temperature is required.
The second style of labels have an irreversible colour changing temperature scale so that they can provide a permanent, accurate record of the temperature reached and provide a quick visual assurance that quality control standards have been met, for example during storage and transit of foods, pharmaceuticals or semi conductors.
